Measurements and simulations from one source!
In many cases it makes sense to accompany the simulations with measurements on the WWTP, in the pipelines, generally speaking in the construction, to be simulated. The better the conditions are defined, the better the simulations can be calibrated and the better the simulations will find accurate predictions. hydrograv possesses sound know-how in the use of up-to-date measurement techniques and is therefore able to offer measurements and simulations from one source.

Bench-scale models
If hydraulic details are to be analysed on bench-scale models hydrograv co-operates with the Institute of Hydromechanic (IfH) at the Universität Karlsruhe (TH). Scale models are assembled and possible optimisation measurements are analysed jointly.
The photograph shows a laser probe for the measurement of flow velocities based on the laser-doppler-method. Such probes are used at the IfH to measure velocities and turbulence degrees in bench-scale models with high accuracy.
